Free and Total Residual Colorimetric Chlorine Analyzer – DPDSense

DPDSense is a colorimetric chlorine analyzer that measures free and total chlorine using DPD (N,N-diethyl-p-phenylenediamine), an industry standard method. The DPDSense features six-month maintenance intervals, reducing operational costs. It measures two forms of chlorine in water: ‘free’ chlorine (HOCl + OCl) and ‘total’ chlorine (free chlorine + chloramines). After chlorine reacts with contaminants during disinfection, the remaining chlorine is considered ‘residual.’

Process Instruments offers three measurement options: HaloSense (electrochemical), DPDSense (DPD), and Chloribrid® (combined technology).
